Release-Day Briefings
Key figures compiled the morning each official release lands, with every number referenced to its source table
Official statistics go live on gov.uk at 9:30am. Each briefing below was written
that morning from the release tables themselves, reconciled against the publisher's
own summary aggregates before publication, and left unchanged afterwards so it stays
a fixed record of what the release said on the day.
Next release: 10 September 2026
— Ministry of Justice / HMCTS, Tribunals statistics quarterly.

About these briefings
- Fixed at publication. A briefing records what a release said on the day it landed and is not retrospectively updated. Where a figure has since been restated, the revisions ledger records the change, and the dashboards carry the current value.
- Every figure is referenced. Each number names the source table (for example Ret_01) so it can be checked against the publisher directly.
- Provisional figures. Recent periods are provisional in the source data and move in later releases; briefings say so where it applies.
