## Labour (Government (from July 2024))

- No number target. Immigration White Paper (May 2025): Skilled Worker threshold £38,700, 10-year settlement pathway
- Scrapped Rwanda scheme (July 2024, cost £715m, zero transfers)
- Border Security Command (£75m/year)
- Net migration fell to 171,000 (2025)
- Stay in ECHR. No HRA change.

## Conservative (Official Opposition)

- Pledged £1.6bn annual Removals Force, 150,000 deportations/year (October 2025)
- Created Rwanda scheme (2022) — scrapped before use
- Illegal Migration Act 2023 (duty to detain and remove)
- Divided on ECHR; Jenrick supports withdrawal

## Reform UK (Party (Farage), 5 seats)

- Leave ECHR. End asylum system. UNRC disapplied for 5 years
- 150,000+ forced removals/year (Operation Restoring Justice, August 2025)
- Lifetime re-entry ban for deported illegals
- Push-back policy at sea

- 150,000-200,000 forced removals/year; 15,000-bed detention estate on RAF bases

- Stay in ECHR. Strengthen HRA.
- 6-month asylum processing target
- Right to work from day one
- No deportation volume target
- End hotel use; dispersal housing only

- Abolish detention
- Safe and legal routes only
- No charter deportation flights
- Full welfare rights for asylum seekers
- Address root causes of migration
